Hi there, and welcome to Wicked Willow!

First, thank you so much for stopping by and supporting my small business. It truly means more than you know.

Wicked Willow began during one of the most challenging seasons of my life. In 2019, my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer and needed around-the-clock care. At the time, I was working a traditional 9-to-5 job and spending most of my day away from home. I knew she deserved to be surrounded by someone who loved her—someone who could give her the care, comfort, and companionship she needed. So, I made the difficult decision to leave my job and become her full-time caregiver.

As rewarding as caregiving was, it was also emotionally demanding. I needed a way to earn an income from home while finding something that could bring a little peace and creativity into my days.

I've always loved candles and anything that makes a space feel warm, cozy, and inviting. That passion led me to candle making. What started as a way to cope quickly became something I genuinely fell in love with. I spent countless hours researching, taking classes, testing different waxes, experimenting with fragrance blends, and learning everything I could to create candles I would be proud to share.

Crochet has an even deeper place in my heart. I learned to crochet when I was just 10 years old, and my grandmother was the one who taught me. Some of my favorite memories are the time we spent together creating with yarn, and those lessons have stayed with me ever since. Today, every handmade crochet piece is a small way of honoring the person who first inspired my love for creating.

In 2021, after my grandmother passed away, I stepped away from candle making for a while. Losing her was incredibly difficult, and I needed time to heal. When I was ready, I found my way back to the craft that had brought me so much comfort. Returning to Wicked Willow felt like returning to a piece of myself, and I'm so grateful to be creating again.

Today, Wicked Willow is built on love, comfort, and creativity. Every candle is hand-poured, every crochet item is handmade with care, and every product is created with the hope of bringing warmth, peace, and a little happiness into your home.
